Rescheduling Policy

Heavenly Hands Massage & Bodywork kindly asks that you give a 24 hour notice of cancellation or need to reschedule. In the event that a 24 hour notice is not possible (emergency, illness, kids, work, life in general, we get it sometimes things just happen), please be courteous and give as much notice as possible so that we can try to fill the appointment.  Clients with continuous cancellations/reschedule requests within 24 hours will be charged a $40.00 fee.

No shows

Failure to show up for your appointment will result in a full charge for the appointment fee charged to the card on file. In the event that there is no credit card on file the full appointment fee will be due prior to scheduling your next appointment.  Clients booking their appointment with the intent to use a pre-paid service will forfeit their pre-paid session.  Clients booking with the intent to use a gift certificate will have the gift certificate redeemed.

 

emergencies/illness

We do understand that emergencies and illnesses do occur.  If you have a fever, sore throat or cold/flu like symptoms, have been hospitalized, had vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours of your appointment, or symptoms begin any time before your appointment, please call to reschedule.  MASSAGE WILL NOT MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER, IT CAN MAKE YOU FEEL WORSE.  The same applies to children that are home sick and need you, please call to reschedule.  You will not be charged for cancelling/rescheduling due to illness.

Weather

In the event of severe weather (who are we kidding.....when it snows!) Heavenly Hands will operate under the Norristown Area School District closing/delayed opening schedule.  In the event of a 2- hour delay, morning appointments will be rescheduled.  If at any time you feel conditions are/will be unsafe, feel free to reschedule your appointment.
